Lisa (BlackPink) has Covid-19

The remaining three members of BlackPink have had PCR tests and are waiting for the results. YG Entertainment said that they are taking measures according to instructions from health authorities.
On November 24, Starnews reported that Lisa had Covid-19. BlackPink’s management company, YG Entertainment, confirmed the news. YG Entertainment said that the remaining 3 members of BlackPink, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo, immediately tested for PCR after the youngest member received a positive result. The company is waiting for the test results of the remaining 3 members.

“BlackPink’s Lisa was diagnosed with Covid-19 on the afternoon of November 24. Three other members have conducted PCR tests and are waiting for the results. First of all, we take intensive measures according to the guidance of health authorities and quickly and accurately share information with relevant parties,” YG Entertainment announced.

“We will do our best to support the health of our artists and staff. This is our top priority. If there are any changes, we will notify them as soon as possible,” the company continued.

Recently, BlackPink members have focused on developing individual activities. In early September, Lisa released her first solo song Lalisa and the album of the same name. Lisa is currently the female singer with the best album sales record in Kpop. Her album Lalisa reached more than 700,000 orders.

In early October, the BlackPink group members went to France to attend Paris Fashion Week. Lisa departed last, but when the singer arrived in France, she was unable to attend Paris Fashion Week.

Bulgari CEO Jean Christophe Babin said the reason given by YG Entertainment was the Covid-19 situation. Except for Lisa, the other three members Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo still attend events. The incident caused public debate. They claim that YG Entertainment discriminated against Lisa.
