BTS won Album of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2021

BTS won the most trophies on Saturday night at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2021, the region’s largest music awards ceremony.
Honors for BTS include Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Worldwide Icon of the Year.

“For all those struggling this year, to share strength and comfort, we tried new things in making music and we worked really hard” – BTS said in his acceptance speech – “Butter and Permission to Dance have received so much love this year, we will be sharing this honor with all of those who have worked so hard to create these amazing performances. great performance and music with us.”

Singer and TV personality Lee Hyori, the first female host of MAMA, opened the ceremony. Following her was a performance by fourth-generation idols Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung, ITZY’s Yeji, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun, aespa’s Karina, and Enhypen’s Heeseung.
