Miss Do Thi Ha will introduce the T’rung – a typical ethnic instrument of the Central Highlands – at Miss World 2021.
In the event of giving sash to the representative of Vietnam on the evening of November 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, Do Thi Ha performed a musical performance of the song “Girl Vault” (musician Hoang Hiep). With just over a month of practice, the beauty completed the full performance. She hopes that the vibrant melody and clear sound of the T’rung will help her impress the judges in this year’s Miss World talent competition.
T’rung is a popular percussion instrument of the Central Highlands ethnic groups, made of a number of bamboo tubes of different sizes. The sound of the piano gives the feeling of a murmuring stream, the sound of a waterfall, or the rustling sound of a bamboo forest when the wind blows.
Do Thi Ha said that she had prepared carefully before leaving on November 20. Her costume for the “Top Model” contest titled “Beauty of the River” was made by designer Do Long. Do Long also prepared two galactic and terraced-inspired evening gowns for her on the final night of the competition.
Besides bodybuilding and catwalk, Do Thi Ha also spends a lot of time cultivating foreign language skills and behavioral skills during her training time in Ho Chi Minh City. “I know I still have many shortcomings, but after training, I am confident with what I have and will try to get into the Top 12,” she said.
With the beauty contest, Do Thi Ha brought the project “Peaceful Houses”, implemented in Tra Don commune, Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province. This is one of the places that suffered heavy damage after the floods in the Central region of 2020. She and the Miss Vietnam organizers supported 18 households and a school to rebuild their houses with the amount of one billion dong.
Also at the show, she received sash from Top 12 Miss World 2019 – Luong Thuy Linh. The event also had the participation of runner-up Phuong Anh, runner-up Ngoc Thao, Top 5 Miss Vietnam 2020 – Mai Phuong, Miss Intercontinental Vietnam 2021 Tran Hoang Ai Nhi. Particularly, Ngoc Thao and Ai Nhi also shared their experiences of participating in international competitions over the past time.
Do Thi Ha was born in 2001, is a student majoring in Business Law, Hanoi National Economics University. The beauty is 1.75 m tall with 1.1 m long legs, representing the domestic beauty of Miss World 2021, scheduled to take place in 29 days, from November 19 to December 17 in Puerto Rico. In the January rankings, she was ranked in the Top 10 by beauty site Missosology.
